Water Company	The Interlaken Mutual Water Company, is a water company owned and operated by the shareholders of the water company. Each lot owner has one share in the water company and therefore one vote. There are 2 to 9 Board of Director positions on the water company board that serve for a term of two years. These positions are not salaried. The directors split up the work of road maintenance, budgeting, and water issues. The board members elect the officers from amongst their group.
Fees	Interlaken Mutual Water Company's annual fee, $1100 for 2009, includes the water system, an allowance of water, road maintenance, snow removal and administrative expenses of the corporation. This fee is billed in January each year and is due by January 31st. Water meters are read twice a year, at the end of May and September, and the usage is averaged over the intervening months. You will be billed for excess usage if your usage exceeds the allowed average of 10,000 gallons per month.
Meetings	Water meetings are usually in September, the first Friday after Labor Day. Details will be provided in August.
