Interlaken Estates is a private community of approximately 132 homes and 50 undeveloped lots, overlooking the Heber/Midway area. Founded in 1976, we were originally a summer cabin community. It wasn't long, however, before people decided they wanted to live here year-round. With many full-time residents, we have become a more active community, which means we need to communicate more often and more effectively. This web site is intended to provide that avenue, at least to our many residents who are "connected". The homes in our area have the most spectacular views of any housing area. We also have a diverse group of fun loving people from various parts of the world, who have chosen to make Interlaken Estates their home.

For recreation, we are within 10 minutes of the Jordanelle lift for downhill skiing in Deer Valley. Park City, Sundance and The Canyons are about 20 minutes away. We have cross-country skiing and tubing at our world-class venue, Soldier Hollow. We are in close proximity to major water-sport areas such as Dear Creek and Jordanelle reservoirs, not to mention the blue-ribbon fishing of the Provo River. We are steps away from hiking and mountain biking in Wasatch Mountain State Park which wraps around behind us. We are also within walking distance of 36 holes of golf at Wasatch Mountain State Park, 18 holes at the Homestead Resort, and another 36 holes at Soldier Hollow. With the restaurants of Park City near by and a number of excellent restaurants in our valley as well, the food gourmet should be very comfortable here, indeed. Best of all, the wildlife, is right out the door.
